Water Stripper

Used for drying strands, profiles, or finished products on an extrusion line, Sterling's Water Stripper offers many advantages over the competition.

To meet your requirements the air knife attachment can be easily located in one of several different locations surrounding the tank assembly.  The air knife can even be located remotely from the rest of the assembly when floor space around the production line is scarce.  The height of the knife is easily adjusted with the turn of a screw.  If remote mounting is required, an adjustable support frame can be supplied.

Low maintenance is a valuable and important feature of Sterling's Water Stripper.  The unique design of our agglomeration tank aids in removing water, contaminants, impurities, and moisture before the stream ever reaches the blower.  Thus, build-up in the housing of the blower is eliminated, avoiding costly maintenance and downtime usually associated with other strippers.

The compact design of Sterling's Water Stripper allows the use of a smaller blower, thereby reducing noise levels and horsepower consumption.  The end result is a higher efficiency, quieter operation, and lower operating costs.  The following options are available for the Water Stripper:

bulletSound Dampening Package - Includes sound enclosures and duct silencers for the blowers.
bulletComplete Electrical Control Package.
bulletStainless Steel Screen - For a higher level of filtering impurities and dirt.
