Unitized temperature control panel has six (6) zones of Eurotherm controllers consisting of three (3) zones for the barrel and three (3) zones for the c-clamp and die. D. Davis Standard / Killion belt puller having a 2″ wide belt with 22″ of contact length. Powered by an approximate 1.5 HP D/C motor. Manually actuated top belt. S/N 30174. 230V/3ph/60Hz input, 10 FLA.
Ferromatik Milacron model Vista V55 injection molding machine. Unit has a clamping force of 55 tons and a 1.76 oz shot capacity. Toggle clamp. 12.8″ x 12.2″ tie bar spacing. Platens measure 20.08? x 19.67″. Clean machine with 6170 original hours. Siemens Xtreem NT controller upgraded to Xtreem ST in 2017. S/N S55A0500076. Manufactured in 2002. Davis Standard model 600STVW 6″ 30:1 L/D extruder, S/N 7-69006. Extruder has a five (5) zone electrically heated, water cooled non vented barrel at a 42″ center-line height. Gearbox has a reduction ratio of 17.38:1 and is rated at 300 HP at a service factor of 1.5. Gearbox was rebuilt by AES in august of 2014. Shaft mounted oil pump and filter. Gearbox is belt driven by a 300 HP 1150/2000 RPM field weakened D/C motor with SCR control. Water cooled feed throat has Conair mixer and bunting magnet mounted on the entrance. Temperature control panel has seven (7) zones of controllers. Cored extrusion screw with rotary union. C-clamp on the barrel discharge. Pulled from service 3/2021 as product line was discontinued
Gala model MAP-6 pelletizing system including cutter with 4 kW motor, die, and water box mounted on a stand. 40 GPM tempered water system with pump, reservoir, heater, heat exchanger, and model 2008-BF spin dryer. Free standing OEM control panel. 460V/3ph/60Hz operation. 64 full load amps. S/N 10200656. Manufactured in 2001. Last used with a 6″ 30:1 300HP Davis Standard extruder.
Leistritriz 50mm twin screw compounding extruder with a 40:1 L/D ratio. Screws are co-rotating and inter-meshing at a 42″ center-line height. Feed entrance is 3″ x 3″. Barrel is electrically heated and water cooled and consists of ten (10) barrel sections including feed, top vent, side feed, and seven (7) closed sections. Screws and barrel sections were replaced in 2016. Eisenbeiss gearbox was replaced in 2015 and is direct driven by a 54 KW (72 HP) A/C motor with Emerson Quantum III control. Gearbox is rated at 2 x 600 newton meters. Free standing control panel with eleven (11) zones of temperature controls that also houses the drive control and operator controls. Package includes Leistritz side feeder with twin screws and 1.5 kw drive and 2.2 kw water centrifugal vacuum pump with micron technology filter. Pulled from service in March of 2021. Last used for compounding LDPE. 460V/3ph/60Hz. 250 amp main disconnect.
Jaeger model RE-900 steel rotating batch blender, 403 cubic foot working capacity, carbon steel construction. Direct driven by a 40 HP motor through a gear reducer. Previously used for batch blending approximately10,000 pounds of plastic with additives.
Leistritz / Gala 27mm compounding line consisting of the following components:
One 27mm 40:1 Leistritz model Micro 27 40GL/40D twin screw extruder with co-rotating inter-meshing screws. Barrel is electrically heated, water cooled and consists of nine (9) barrel sections. Gearbox is direct driven by a 10.5 KW (14.3 HP) DC motor with SCR (silicone controlled rectifier) allowing for an approximate maximum screw speed of 500 RPM. Integral movable control panel has eleven (11) zones of temperature control and all operator controls. Includes pre-polymer metering pump and three (3) sets of screw shafts with loose screw elements. Manufactured in 1997. S/N 2553. Pulled from service in January of 2021. Gala model 6PDV polymer diverter valve with 10 HP hydraulic pump. Unit is used until the extruder is up to speed. Gala model SLC6 underwater pelletizer with 4.3 KW (5.3 HP) spring loaded cutter, model 40TWS water tempering system with heated reservoir, 3 HP water pump, heat exchanger, Gala model 8.1BF spin dryer with agglomerate catcher and free-standing control panel with touch screen controls. Offered less die. Includes spare blades, heater bands, and manuals. 460V/3ph/60Hz 46 FLA operation . Manufactured in 2000. S/N 10100743.
One (1) used NRM 4.5″ 24:1 L/D PM III extruder having a six (6) zone electrically heated, water cooled (closed loop) barrel at a 42″ center-line height. Gearbox has a reduction ratio of 25.14:1 and is rated at 141 HP at a service factor of 1.25. The gearbox is direct driven in a tuck under manner by a 150 HP Reliance D/C motor with Reliance SCR. Gearbox has an oil pump and heat exchanger. The extruder has a water-cooled feed throat with 4.5” on center round entrance. The temperature control panel has six (6) zones for the barrel and four (4) zones of temperature controls for die zones. Handi-clamp on the discharge. Temperature control 460/3/60 180 FLA. C. Vega Model L1100 single shaft shredder with an 1,100mm (43.3″) wide entrance with a 48 knife rotor. 1,080mm x 1,124mm throat opening (42″ x 44″). Voltage is 400V/3ph/50Hz – 460V/3ph/60Hz input. Cumberland / Gloucester model 1842i granulator. 18″ x 42″ feed throat with three (3) knife open rotor. Rotor is belt driven by a 100HP 1,775 RPM 460V 134 FLA motor. Two (2) bed knives. Insulated tray feed hopper with 19.5″ x 42″ opening. Insulated body panels. Set up for 6″ OD airveyor discharge. Discharge is via a Sterling model 6005FV blower with a 7.5 HP motor. Includes a free standing console type control panel with Alan Bradley Dialog Plus soft starter. Granulator S/N 01703024.
Colorado Mill Equipment model C5 pellet cooler (now replaced by the c6). Rated at 3 to 6 tons per hour of pellets depending on pellet size, density, temperature and composition. Davis Standard model 60IN60TPIH 6″ 30:1 L/D extruder having a six (6) zone electrically heated, water cooled (closed loop) non-vented barrel at a 42″ center-line height. Oversize heavy-duty gearbox has a reduction ratio of 11.29:1 and is rated at 706 HP at a service factor of 1.5. The gearbox is set up for a direct drive from the back of the extruder. Gearbox has an oil pump with heat exchanger for lubrication and cooling. The extruder has a water-cooled feed throat with 6″ wide x 9″ long on center entrance. Granutec model TFG3636-125 granulator having a 36″ x 36″ feed throat. Tangential cutting chamber with three (3) knife open rotor. Two (2) bed knives. Rotor is belt driven by a 125 HP 460-volt 1185 RPM 146 FLA motor. Tray feed hopper. Granulator and controls are mounted on a base plate with fork lift rails. Discharge is set up for an 8″ right hand airveyor. Discharge is via a Kongskilde model MTD-35 blower with 15 HP motor and steel reinforced impeller. Blower discharges into a Kongskilde model RC40 cyclone with nine (9) bag filter head, Kongskilde RF20 rotary valve, and material holding bin. Bin measures 48″ x 48″ x 127″ tall plus 24″ of 45-degree slope. Bin also has 6″ OD gaylord height discharge, Granulator S/N 1205-4296.
One (1) used Sprout Waldron model 26 pellet mill having a 26″ diameter die with ¼” holes. Unit was recently rebuilt and was used for test runs on wood pellets and alfalfa. 11″ x 13″ feed entrance with 5 HP feeder. Conditioner is mounted over the pellet mill and has a 10 HP drive and discharges into the feed entrance of the mill. Unit is direct driven by a 300 HP A/C motor with Motortronics VMX series soft start. extremely clean. serial number 82-244. 460/3/60 operation.

Heavy-duty gearbox has a reduction ratio of 17.36:1 and is rated at 300 HP at a service factor of 1.5. Set up for maximum screw speed RPM of 100. The gearbox is direct driven in a tuck under manner by approximately a 150 HP Reliance D/C motor. The extruder has a water-cooled feed throat with power feed for cold feeding rubber. The barrel is vented and a has a vacuum pump mounted on the base. C-clamp with swing away die holder on the discharge. S/N J5585, Shop order 97702C. Manufactured 3/1985. 460/3/60 input.
Davis Standard model 80IN80H 8″ 24:1 L/D extruder having a five (5) zone electrically heated, water cooled (closed loop) barrel at a 42″ center-line height. Oversize heavy-duty gearbox has a reduction ratio of 23.93:1 and is rated at 1080 HP at a service factor of 1.5.Set up for maximum screw speed RPM of 100. The gearbox is direct driven in a wrap-around manner by a 400 HP 1755 RPM Reliance A/C motor with Rockwell Automation inverter and isolation transformer. The extruder has a water-cooled feed throat with 7” wide x 10” long on center entrance. The temperature control panel has five (5) zones for the barrel and eight (8) zones of temperature controls for die zones. C-clamp with swing away die holder on the discharge. Last used on HDPE. Includes three component blending hopper which is driven off of the main gearbox. Spare Barrier screw for the extruder. S/N 77621, Shop order G8739. Manufactured 3/28/2000. Gearbox updated 1/28/2004. 460/3/60 input. Extremely clean.
Shred-Pax model AZ-80 twin shaft shredder, S/N 160-9216. 33″ x 63″ wide cutting chamber entrance. Carbon steel construction. Two rows of intermeshing knives measuring 1-3/4″ thick. Each shaft is driven by a 40HP 230/460V 1,750 RPM Sumitomo AC motor run through a Sumitomo CYCLO reducer. Mounted on a steel frame. Manufactured in 1992. Overall dimensions are 149″ x 53″ 94″. This machine is offered less the controls.
Sterling extruder with an electrically heated, air-cooled, and side vented barrel at a 42″ center-line height. 4.5″ 30:1 L/D. Gearbox is a Lufkin change gear type and is direct driven in a tuck under manner by a 150HP DC motor with SCR. Includes gravity feed hopper. Integral control panel with six zones of temperature control, SCR and pelletizer controls. Berringer model 17 hydraulic slide plate screen changer having two (2) nominal 4.5″ diameter breaker plates is mounted on the extruder discharge. Includes 2HP hydraulic power pack. Following the screen changer is a Berringer model WRP12 water ring pelletizing system with a 3HP cutting head. 45 hole die tempered water system sluice-way and 2HP centrifugal spin dryer. Pulled from service in January of 2020.
