One 27mm 40:1 Leistritz model Micro 27 40GL/40D twin screw extruder with co-rotating inter-meshing screws. Barrel is electrically heated, water cooled and consists of nine (9) barrel sections. Gearbox is direct driven by a 10.5 KW (14.3 HP) DC motor with SCR (silicone controlled rectifier) allowing for an approximate maximum screw speed of 500 RPM. Integral movable control panel has eleven (11) zones of temperature control and all operator controls. Includes pre-polymer metering pump and three (3) sets of screw shafts with loose screw elements. Manufactured in 1997. S/N 2553. Pulled from service in January of 2021. Gala model 6PDV polymer diverter valve with 10 HP hydraulic pump. Unit is used until the extruder is up to speed. Gala model SLC6 underwater pelletizer with 4.3 KW (5.3 HP) spring loaded cutter, model 40TWS water tempering system with heated reservoir, 3 HP water pump, heat exchanger, Gala model 8.1BF spin dryer with agglomerate catcher and free-standing control panel with touch screen controls. Offered less die. Includes spare blades, heater bands, and manuals. 460V/3ph/60Hz 46 FLA operation . Manufactured in 2000. S/N 10100743.
Berstorff 25mm twin screw extruder type ZE25. Co-rotating side by side screw design. 36:1 L/D ratio. Electrically heated and air cooled barrel consisting of eight sections including feed throat, 42″ barrel centerline height, side feeder entrance, and vent section. Accurate feeder mounted on the feed throat and K-Tron feeder for side feeder. 15HP DC motor with SCR. Console type control panel with seven zones of temperature control. Two hole strand die, operator and feeder controls are included. Manufactured in 1994. 240-Volt input power.
