The system consists of the following components:

A) A hydraulically actuated start up value with 11 kW hydraulic pump.

B) A liquid heated die plate with a Sterlco model M2B6017-L 100 kW oil heater.

C) A 60HP 36 knife cutter head with a pneumatically adjustable knife shaft

D) A cutting chamber with a tangential water supply and pellet drain.

E) A Movitec model VSF 90/4-2B water tempering system with a FUNKE type plate heat exchanger.

F) A 7.5HP spin dryer with an agglomerate catcher and a 1.5HP blower.

G) A free standing control panel.

H) A support structure for cutter, cutting chamber, hydraulic pump, hydraulic vale, and operator controls.
